Online Hypnotherapy Session PREP

Simple steps to create a quiet, connected, and comfortable space for deep inner work.

Each hypnotherapy session opens a door. What you do afterward—how you reflect, revisit, and integrate—can make all the difference. This page explains what happens next, including how to access your recording, when to expect your transcript, and how to request a follow-up call if you’d like extra support.

☑️ Silence & Privacy

• Choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted for the full duration of your session (up to 4 hours).

• Inform anyone you live with that you’ll need uninterrupted silence—no knocks, no questions, no movement in your space.

• Secure pets and children in another area with proper care and supervision.

• Use the bathroom before your session to avoid needing a break. If you do need to pause, it’s okay—but it’s best to prevent it.

☑️ Equipment & Connection

• Use a fully charged and plugged-in device(computer or phone). A laptop is preferred for screen stability.

• Turn your phone off or on Do Not Disturb mode. If using your phone for the session, silence all calls and notifications.

• Connect to strong, stable Wi-Fi or cellular data. If your connection is spotty, sit closer to your router or turn off other streaming devices.

☑️ Headphones & Audio

• Use headphones or earbuds with a microphone—preferably wired to avoid Bluetooth battery issues.

• If using Bluetooth, make sure they’refully charged and last 4 hours.

• Noise-canceling headphones are ideal if you have them, as they help block outside distractions.

☑️ Comfort & Environment

• Wear comfortable clothing and set up your space for deep relaxation.

• Sit or lie down on a couch or bed where your face is clearly visible on camera (framed from the chest up).

• Have a pillow and blanket nearby.

• Use an eye mask if possible to block out light and deepen your focus during trance.

☑️ Video Conference Tips

• Your session will take place on Zoom Video Conference.

• Make sure it’s installed and updated before we begin.

• Check your video and audio setup ahead of time.

• Place your device at an angle where your full face can be seen without needing to hold it or adjust it during the session.

☑️ Backup Plan (Just in Case)

If we lose connection during the session, there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. You’ll either remain in a calm, restful state or naturally return to full awareness on your own.

If this happens:

• Stay relaxed. Your subconscious knows what to do.

• I’ll reach out via phone or text to reconnect.

• If needed, we can easily pause and resume the session.

You are always in control, and you cannot get “stuck” in hypnosis. Your body and mind know how to return to waking awareness whenever needed.

☑️ Important Reminder

Your body and mind need the same thing to go deep: stillness and safety.

The more you prepare your environment ahead of time, the more your system can relax, open, and receive the full benefits of the work.
